More on the Tuesday Crisis Training—interactive workshop

The UMDIA program committee decided to deviate from the typical pattern of programming this year when offered the opportunity to host this important interactive workshop. We hope that we will never have cause to use this training, but we know that there is always a potential for small or large crises in our work and as our theme recognizes we need to Be Prepared!
Join Dairy Management Inc. and Midwest Dairy Association, the national and regional milk check-off organizations, for this session on what to do with information you receive in a crisis. If a highly contagious disease like Foot and Mouth Disease came to Minnesota, your company or the State of Minnesota would have protocols on what to do next. Some of the most important actions or non-actions are what you do with information, rumors, or calls from the press which lie outside of your normal protocol. Our experienced team will lead you through the ins and outs of a communications management drill during a crisis.
